The Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) is a volunteer run, not for profit, organisation that was established in 1945 and is comprised of branches of individual members who are passionate about children's and young adult literature.

ENTRIES NOW OPEN FOR 2014
Change to entry of Picture Books: In 2013 Publishers must choose from the following categories for each book: Older Readers, Younger Readers, Early Childhood, Picture Books, and/or Information Books.
Fees: There is a new fee of $99 for EACH category entered. All fiction and non-fiction books must be entered before 30 November 2013 for consideration by the judges. Early entry of titles is important so that the judges have sufficient time for their deliberations. Please send entries of all new titles when review copies are distributed.
