The Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) is a volunteer run, not for profit, organisation that was established in 1945 and is comprised of branches of individual members who are passionate about children's and young adult literature.

The CBCA is pleased to  announce that all the royalties of Ken Spillman's book Jake's Gigantic List (Fremantle Press) will be donated to the CBCA's newly created Gift Fund.

• The Children's Book Council of Australia National Archives, dating back to 1945, are held at the National Library of Australia.
• The promotion of greater equity of access to reading through community projects
